• To follow up with them after correspondence (email or phone enquiries)

How do we protect your information?

We do not use vulnerability scanning and/or scanning to PCI standards.

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

We implement a variety of security measures when a user enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.

How long do we keep your information?

Your personal data will not be kept for longer than is necessary to fulfil the specific purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, and to allow us to comply with our legal requirements. Any data we do hold onto will be anonymous. Any personally identifiable information such as your name, address, date of birth and telephone number will be deleted after a defined period. The rest of the data is therefore anonymous and will be used to analyse general market and website trends but without an identifiable personal information. For avoidance of doubt, here are the data retention periods for each of the circumstances where we would hold personal data:

• When submitting a website enquiry or contact form – we will retain your personal data for 12 months from the date of submission.
• When becoming an ATOL Customer Account Holder – following creation of your ATOL Customer Account we will keep your personal data for the entire period you are a customer.
• When becoming an ex-ATOL Customer Account Holder – we will retain your details for up to 7 years after the closing of your account. Some personal information will be deleted earlier than this.
